High Speed 5 Axis NC Function of Xion-II-5AX
The Xion-II-5AX machines multifaceted micro-precision molds and dies with high accuracy and repeatability through a closed loop feedback system with linear scale measurement. Intricate parts that once required multiple set-ups and extensive man-hours to complete can now be produced on a single unattended CNC center!
Apart from a spline curve (a) that instructs the tool edge trajectory, another tragectory of points on the tool axis (b) can be instructed for the tool orientation vector commands using the same spline curve. Thus, further improvement of the surfaces of the sections can be acheived by instructing a smooth movement of a tool in the 5 axis machining.
